An amazing collection of original wire photos (13) and studio shots capture the legendary crooner alongside the likes of Bing Crosby, Gina Lollabrigida, Grace Kelly, Judy Garland, Princess Margaret, Jane Russell, Groucho Marx, Juliet Prowse, his 1962 Academy Award, and Eleanor Roosevelt. All date from the 1950's-60's. All have their original press clippings, some with press stampings. Overall EX-MT. Range in size from 6x8"-8x10", with most being of the larger variety.

This is one largest collections ever of historic vintage photos spanning the entire 20th century. The San Francisco Examiner was the first paper acquired by William Randolph Hearst and itself was the subject of the film classic Citizen Kane. The majority of the photographs are fully identified, and back-stamped with dates. Included throughout this auction is a diverse mix of subjects including sports, historical, political, transportation, Hollywood, and all facets of entertainment.
