It is often more of a thrill to see the artist’s act of creation, rather than the finished product, and here we have three pastel sketches of pop star Michael Jackson by award-winning artist Sheila Wolk, entitled -- quite pragmatically --- “Study for M. Jackson painting.” These three close-up images present the notorious moonwalker singing, posing in his trademark big sunglasses, and, most revealingly, gazing with open, vulnerable eyes in a plaintive repose. All are great works which measure 22x31”.
