Plethora of images of heavyweight boxing champ James Braddock from his own estate, which include (22) wire photos of mostly championship fights (1930’s) with the likes of Tommy Farr, Joe Louis, and Ernie Schaaf, but mostly of that shocker bout in which the Cinderella Man stole the heavyweight title from Max Baer on June 13, 1935; these photos include on verso, International News stamps, original paper captions and newspaper clippings, publishing marks, and date stamps. Also included are many medium-format negatives and their subsequent 3 ½ x 5 ½” B&W photographs of family portraits and playful candids. A terrific mixture of the personal and the athletic Braddock.
