Two moments of Jimi Hendrix presented here as two individual cels, from filmmaker Ralph Bakshi’s animated 1981 rock n’ roll movie "American Pop," when his style of rotoscoping was in vogue. Hendrix sits and, with glass in hand, moves to take a drink. Cels measure roughly 12-1/2" x 10” and not only capture the filmmaking process but also offer an affectionate portrait of the legendary guitarist.
