"The Standard" Base Ball wooden counter-top display box c.1870-80's once housed a dozen balls from the famed equipment manufacturer. Hinged wooden box measures 10"x13"x3.5" with decorated lid having hand holding a ball and "The Standard Base Balls For Sale Here" black lettering. Surface has some wear including minor scratches and some staining, while the bottom panel has split at center, VG+. Very rare 19th century baseball display piece with desirable untouched original surface. Ex-Dennis Goldstein Collection.
