The perfect compliment to the pitching rubber being offered this auction is this, home plate used at Crosley Field (the final one?). The only one of its kind known to exist, it was originally obtained from a well known collector in the Cincy area who himself purchased the item from a former stadium employee. The surface's scrapes, scuffs, and scars tell the tale of the countless number of greats who passed over it through out the decades. Just fantastic! Like the pitching rubber, this piece was first offered fifteen years ago, and so too, has been in the possession of actor Charlie Sheen until now.
