Illustrator and comic book artist Will Elder (of MAD Magazine fame) is represented well in this charming and evocative portrait of his and fellow artist Harvey Kurtzman’s Playboy creation, as knee-knocked, bright-eyed and blonde Little Annie Fannie submissively speaks (in cartoon bubble form) to an unseen “Charlie” in this original full color drawing entitled “Hi Charlie!” The Annie serial ran through three decades at Playboy, this portrait is dated 1979. Matted and wood framed to 14" x 17".
