Long before he was patroling the outfield for New York, even before he was a hot tempered rookie with the Brewers, Gary Sheffield donned this Rawlings “Pro-5X-SC” as a promising prospect in the Milwaukee farm system. The tan leather is well broken-in but still soft and supple, and is written with his number “16” in black marker inside the palm. Signed and inscribed in blue sharpie, “Used in Minor Leagues-Gary Sheffield” (9/10). Tremendous use is evident throughout.
