Considered to be the best right-hander in the history of the Phillies franchise, Robin Roberts will forever be remembered for his heroic outings while a member of the "Whiz Kids". Offered are his black leather cleats with custom right toe guard. They exhibit the extraordinary use one would expect to find on any item from the HOF workhorse, especially on the right shoe which has a single 1/4" hole. Written on the inside on each tongue is his number "36" in black marker, with all other marking and stampings having faded long ago, including size which appears to be approximately 10-11. Originally part of the Paul Hill collection, the legendary enthusiast who obtained all of his treasures directly from the players.
