A pair of National League (Feeny) baseballs mark two of the most important days not only in the career of Pete Rose, but in the entire sport. The first was signed and inscribed the day he surpassed Stan Musial as the NL's All Time hit leader. In black felt tip it reads, "Pete Rose-3631 Hit- 8-10-81" (9/10) on a ball that is moderately and evenly toned (VG-EX). The second, also written in black felt tip, reads, "Pete Rose-44 Games Hit Streat-1978" (9/10), on a lightly and evenly toned ball is EX-MT. Both were autographed the day the records we're broken and made.
