ITEM DESCRIPTION

||||||||||||
Pete's single season north of the border was undoubtedly highlighted by the double he lashed off Jerry Koosman on April 13th, 1984. The hit marked the 4,000th of his Hall of Fame worthy career and placed him alongside Ty Cobb as the only player to record such a lofty number. From that game comes this Official National League (Feeney) baseball signed and inscribed by Charlie Hustle, "Pete Rose-Montreal Expos-4000th Hit-4-13-84" in black felt tip that grades a Perfect 10/10. The ball itself shows nice game use and owns an attractive gold tone from handling during that historic event. Obtained from Expos clubhouse man after the game.
