Lot 1177: Collection of Vintage Baseball Uniforms and Jerseys (6)

A gorgeous grouping of vintage garments dating back to the 1910's which includes scarcely seen styles of every sort: 1) 1920's State Hospital uniform-heavy flannel jersey, pants, stirrups. Manufactured by Ken Wel, [size] "35" 2) N & W Railroad cotton twill jersey-manufactured by General Athletic Products Co., [size] "35". Considerable fading and discoloration to the reverse side. 3) Vintage Koppers Stores uniform-heavy flannel jersey, pants, stirrups-manufactured by Bresler, "Storrs Schaefer" sewn to the reverse. Minor spots of deterioration on the front lower left, tear to the right knee of pants. 4) Vintage Aepco complete cotton twill uniform-jersey, pants, stirrups, cap. Manufactured by Gold Smith, faded nameplate on the inside front tail. 5) 1910's Viator flannel uniform-pullover jersey, pants, stirrups (two pairs). Manufactured by Aldrich & Chancellor, several minor points of deterioration on front and back of the jersey. 6) 1940 Pure Oil Co. satin uniform-jersey and pants. Manufactured by Gold Smith and chainstitched with, "Tri-State Champs '39" on the right sleeve. Two tears to the front right tail. All show moderate to heavy game use yet remain in excellent display condition.
