Here are the two key cards of rare and condition sensitive 1967 Venezuela "Retirado" series. As one might guess, the cards are of Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. Card # 147 Babe Ruth is graded PSA 6 EX-MT, while # 141 Lou Gehrig is PSA 4 VG-EX (mc). Like most Venezuelan cards from this era they are printed on substandard paper. It is extremely difficult to find cards in any condition above EX, many are often found with back damage due to having been glued to an album or scrapbook. These two cards will make an excellent pick up for any advanced Ruth and Gehrig card collection.
