The New Jersey Devils won their third Prince of Wales Trophy in four years in 2003, beating the Ottawa Senators, after which they went on to retrieve their 2nd Stanley Cup in four years, after exhausting the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim in seven games. A slender tower of silver, this trophy is gorgeous and well-taken care of. Sprouting from its wood base is the long cup, and removable ornate top, while below is engraved on a silver placard, “H.R.H., Prince of Wales Trophy, “and on back of sculpted wood base another plate with, “NHL Champions, New Jersey Devils, 2002-03”. Reaching 13”, it is in EX condition, and includes LOA from Devils’ employee it was presented to(name on request).
