ITEM DESCRIPTION

Offered is the CCM "Heaton 10" stick used by New Jersey's incredible net-minder during Game Six of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals at the Continental Airlines Arena. It would be the final game for Brodeur and the Devils that season as Carolina clinched the franchise's first playoff series win since 1986. Regardless, Martin was again among the league leaders in wins and GAA during the regular season, as he once again lead the league in victories and remained a Vezina and MVP candidate. From the top, the knob is taped with gauze and written with "Caro" in black marker, the midsection shows light but evident use, and the blade is covered with its original tape. Inscribed, "To Billy, Thanks For Everything-Martin Brodeur-04/27/02", in black sharpie (7/10).
