In the dynasty years of the 1950-60's, The Montreal Canadiens owned the ice in the NHL. With the exception of a few years, they would parade the Stanley Cup up St. Catherine's West each spring. The largest and greatest forward of that era was their Captain Jean Beliveau. His long effortless stride and deft stick handling was a work of art to behold.
