One of the earliest DiMaggio signatures we have ever seen. Before his glory days with the Yankees this page was signed when he was a young sensation in the Pacific Coast League. The Yankees purchased Joe D from the Seals after some price squabbling. The Seals asked for 100,000 but settled for $25,000 and the services of five other ball players, when he went to the Yankees for the 1936 season. Blue ink (9/10) signature is "J. DiMaggio."
