Sewn manufacturer’s tag on each glove’s wrist is “Golden Wilson Gloves,” and model # 280CL appears in faded silver in the palms, while just inside strung-up wrist-strapping are tags asserting that these mitts are “official according to AAU specifications.” Sparring gloves were given by Sugar Ray to one of his physicians.
