All-Star Juan Pizarro buttoned up this light blue Boston Red Sox road uniform in 1969 before he moved onto, yet, another of his eight career teams. His lifetime winning percentage was .555, which did include two no-hitters in ’62 with Chicago White Sox. Nice road style has "Boston" in blue felt backed in red. "24" on the back. Manufacturer’s tag “McAuliffe” with year "69" and size "44" tags in front tail. Very nice condition, and all-original but for baseball anniversary patch which has been removed from the sleeve. It is likely that this jersey was also worn in the spring of 1970 also.
