ITEM DESCRIPTION
|
||||||||||||
Following their 2004 World Series victory, the Red Sox offered a select number of high-quality items for sale to the public, each licensed and sold by the team. While not a player's ring, this is an extremely high quality item, manufactured by Intergold, with an original retail cost of $2,999; the sales receipt is included. The size 11 1/2, 14 karat yellow gold ring is studded with small but nicely cut diamonds, all of them real. A large Red Sox “B” is set with 20 diamonds upon a red cabochon, with “World” above it and “Champions” below, and with a row of four larger diamonds on each side. One shank displays an image of the World Series trophy in high relief, beneath “Believe”, all very attractive against a black background. The other shank features the recipient’s last name, above the Red Sox seal, and “2004”, all upon a black background. The recipient’s name, “14K” and the issue number (“021”) is inscribed inside. This splendid ring is in NRMT condition, in original box and with all paperwork included.
