A stunningly rare piece of early baseball bric a brac, this mug is meticulously hand-painted with a quaint batting scene and period horsehair brush. Below the lip a name has been removed, though the condition of the scene and mug itself are EX-MT. Much of the gold leaf at the base and on the handle, as well as a gold design along the side of the scene, is still mostly intact. It's almost impossible to find antique mugs with a baseball motif like this.
