UPDATE: PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE IN WRITE-UP
This stylish uniform was worn by Eddie Joost in the AA All-Star Game of 1938. Made by Wilson, the jersey sports the manufacturer's double tagging and [size] "40" flag tag in the collar, with a blue felt "AA" (American Association) above a matching "star" logo on front and his number "3" on the verso. Eddie has left his black Sharpie autograph on the right chest (7/10) and inside, just below the placket, is a chain-stitched nameplate that reads "Eddie Joost" in red thread. Likewise, along the waistband of the accompanying pair of pants, which also are tagged from Wilson, with [size] "34" flag tag. Overall, the set displays great use obtained during Eddie's start that day with noticeable sweat and field dirt toning on the inside of the jersey. Includes his pair of red sox as well. A highly desirable and rarely seen All-Star specimen.
