Successor of the great Harry Kellar, Howard Thurston mystified crowds around the world with his magnificent illusions and trove of tricks. From 1908 until 1936, the year of his death, he was the top magician in the United States. Offered are a rare assortment of press and studio photos ranging in size between 3x6" to 8x10" (most of which are of the larger size) taken during the height of Thurston's popularity in the 1920's. All have either original copy and press stampings or "Baker Studio" markings. Overall EX+-EX-MT.
