Offered is a pair of photos taken during the height of "The Second Red Scare" of Joseph McCarthy, Chair of Senate Committee on Government Operations and its Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, and his assistant counsel to the subcommittee, Robert Kennedy. The first was shot during a hearing on the 28th of May, 1954, while the second dates from later that year on December 12th.
