Black Rawlings Adirondack bat was wielded mightily by Mr. October during the late 80's while with the Halos. Exhibits fantastic overall use, with numerous blue AL ball marks in one concentrated area on the left-hand hitting surface. Light checking of the wood has occurred in this area as a result of the extraordinary number of plate appearances in which this bat has made. Additionally, there is a minor crack in the mid-section, which is still very solid. The knob is stamped "288 RJ", with batch code and year (004 7) underneath, and written with his number "44" in silver sharpie. Perfectly signed in silver paint pen "Reggie Jackson #44" on barrel. Nice example of a game used bat from this pre-steroid era 500 HR Club member.
