This is the second (and final) of only two performances of the Bruce Springsteen masterminded rock extravaganza, “Dr. Zoom and the Sonic Boom". This red type on pink medium-card poster, measuring 11½ x 14½, announces this second concert at the eccentric “1st Annual Ernie the Chickin’ Festival” (notice the spelling and apostrophe on “Chickin’”) on Saturday, May 15th, 1971, at Newark State College, Union, NJ. Springsteen put this band together with future E-Street band mates Steven Van Zandt, David Sancious, Garry Tallent, and Vini Lopez, along with solo rocker Southside Johnny. Some soiling mostly on lower left, but otherwise and overall a strong VG-EX. Very rare and evocative.
