Fabulous mini baseball is half the size of its Official American League counterpart but identical in every other way down to the stamp of the AL President William Harridge. Signed "Ty Cobb 3/30/48" on the side panel in jet black fountain pen ink that displays beautifully. Only a few minor breaks in the "T" of "Ty" prevent this superior example from being awarded a 9.5/10, but still its current state warrants a very respectable 8/10. The ball's surface is lightly and evenly toned giving it that rich patina glow that is so attractive and leaving the overall condition of the specimen at EX+.
