ITEM DESCRIPTION

Have suit will travel, as this Ringo Starr black hipster suit made its probable, roundabout way to us through a tapestry of fans and collectors, including Canadian musician Chris “Looks Like Ringo, Sounds Like John” Tassone, from whom we received this black beauty. The Letter of Authenticity included here from actor Mark McGann, has its own Beatlesque connection, being that Mr. McGann played John Lennon in the NBC TV movie “John and Yoko: A Love Story” in 1985. It was while on location filming the biopic, that the suit was acquired by McGann from the costume designer friend of Beatles photographer/writer, Allan Tannenbaum. The black, snap button shirt (medium size, with neck 15 - 15 ½) is designed by Mike Weber, and has a certain Ringo flair to it, with its shiny black color, pearl white buttons, and an embroidered silver rose on each side of the chest. The belt is black patent leather, and has a large silver industrial buckle. Finger-teasing suede pants (European size 42) complete this ensemble of Beatlesque pizzazz, appropriately made by a company named “Number One”. This outfit would be of the correct proportions for someone the size of Ringo. All in all, a dazzler befitting the star that is our Ringo.
