The Windy City's favorite son donned this blue pinstripe jersey during his breakout season of '85. In only his third full season, he posted bigtime numbers (.305 BA, 26 HR) and solidified himself as the future of the Cubs organization. His "home" white jersey is a Wilson [size 42] with corresponding tagging in collar, small "Tapered" tag also sewn in. Strip tag in collar is "23 85 1 42"-player number, year, set, and size. Finally on the front tail is an "85" season tag. A "Cubs" team patch covers the heart and a cubbie logo patch can be found on the left sleeve. His number "23" on back has been altered, the "2" is all original the "3" was restored. A very nice jersey, with great, even use, from the early years of this Hall of Fame 2nd baseman.
