The acknowledged "Master of Ceremonies" of the infamous Black Sox scandal. Although we don't know that Burke took this photo, he printed it in Chicago at his studio (probably in the 1930's) and it has his stamp on the back. The posed photo (4 x 6") was shot in 1917. It has a slightly toned tint and is EX.
