Presented is a very rare Canadian issue of 1956 Shredded Wheat. The Shredded Wheat Company issued team sets of 15 cards. This set is only missing # 14F Frank Filchock for completion. Highlights include 2F Martin Ruby EX-MT, 3F Bobby Marlow VG-EX, 9F Mel Becket EX-MT, 12F Mario DeMarco EX, and 15F Frank Tripucka VG-EX+. (3) Players Demarco, Ruby and Becket were killed in a plane crash while coming back from an All-Star Game. The remaining balance of the set grades 40% EX, 50% VG-EX, and 10% lesser. All cards have the redemption coupon still attached.
