Rare handwritten letter from baseball's first commissioner here. All of the writing is in black fountain pen on "Baseball...Office Of The Commissioner" letterhead which reads in part: "Dear Mr. Hill: You need no assurance that I had real pleasure in reading.......I'm returning it to you today with appreciation......Yours Truly, Kenesaw M. Landis". Signature is an 8/10 on this undated ALS, with most of the writing being a bit stronger. One horizontal fold, otherwise Excellent condition.
