On February 18, 1968 the Bruins played the LA Kings in Los Angeles. On that night Johnny Bucyk recorded his 250th NHL goal. These are the skates he wore on that historic night, with one slight difference. They now have a substantial coating of polished bronze. They were bronzed and presented to Bucyk on Johnny Bucyk Night, March, 28th, 1968. A plaque at the front details the award and lists his records, awards and achievements while wearing the uniform of the Boston Bruins. LOA from Bucyk is included.
