This 1908 image (measuring 5x7), photographed by Paul Thompson, is a perfect representation of Cobb’s fielding prowess, his arm back, hips leading the throw, and a ferocity on his face that was telling as it was focused on its target. Although there is a light, small crack on its right side, this photograph is EX+, with nice contrast. Located on the back are some pencil marks, sticker info, photographer’s stamp, and the magazine’s stamp, "The Ring, Inc.".
