With this certificate, Sinclair, of Sinclair Oil, bought eleven hundred seventy-four shares of the St. Louis American League Baseball Co. Black lettering and a gold seal detail the slightly yellowed paper signed by Ball, and was issued on December 27, 1922. Meanwhile, the Browns continued with less success, winning only one pennant, finishing last 14 times, and seventh 14 times. The piece is in NR/MT Mint condition.
