Pearl Frush was one of the top three women pin-up and glamour artists in the calendar art market at mid-century. Because she worked primarily in watercolor and gouache, her originals could rarely be reproduced in large enough quantities for her to achieve widespread popular acclaim like Alberto Vargas. Frush created a string of popular series: Liberty Belles, Sweethearts of Sports, Girls of Glamour, Glamour Round the Clock and Aqua-tour. These are the originals used to create posters for two of the Aqua-tour series: Miss Pacific Coast and Miss Gulf Coast. Both are in NRMT condition. Each painting is 14 x 19" and 19-3/4 x 24-1/4" and framed and matted.
