UPDATE: The date of this game was May 12, 1956, not May 26.
A rare combo set consisting of an Ebbets Field program and ticket stub from May 12, 1956, when Carl Erskine pitched his second no-hitter against the Giants. One of the "Boys of Summer", "Oisk" managed a 122-78 record during twelve seasons with the Dodgers, despite often playing in pain, the result of a shoulder injury suffered as a rookie. The 6" x 9 7/8" program is signed boldly by Carl Erskine, "#17", in ballpoint pen on the centerfold scorecard, which has been completed in pencil. The program is loaded with period advertising, player info and statistics, and overall condition is VG-EX. The ticket stub is also VG-EX.
