1996-97 marked the introduction of one of the most despised jersey designs ever to come down the pike. It came to be known as the "Gorton's Fisherman" style and caused some fans to refer to the Islanders as fish sticks. This one belonged to goalie Tommy Soderstrom. Fight strap is cut out, and team's trainer has signed the jersey inside on the crest’s reverse. 25th Islanders Anniversary patch on to the right of the team logo. "CCM" tag in collar along with size "58" tag. Jersey shows good use and is in Excellent condition.
