Lot 453: 1975 Reggie Jackson Major League Baseball All Star Game Ring
ITEM DESCRIPTION
The 1975 All Star game was exciting all the way to the end. Carl Yastrzemski’s 3-run homer tied the game in the sixth inning, and the score stayed close until the ninth inning, when a combination of timely hits and tough errors won it for the NL, 6-3. This game marked the 24th - and final - All Star appearance by the immortal Hank Aaron. We offer a Balfour silver and cobalt blue glass All-Star Game ring, made just like the one that Reggie Jackson (.333 in the game) received. The top is marked “Baseball / All Star” with a central blue stone. The left side is marked “Jackson” on a baseball atop crossed bats, and the right side features a figure at bat over “1975”. This great size 10 ¼ sample ring is in NRMT condition.
