On September 28, 1972 Paul Henderson scored the 6-5 goal at 19:26 of the final period to give Canada the victory over the Soviets. Announcer Foster Hewitt called it "the goal heard round the world." This jersey is autographed by 38 players in black Sharpie: Orr, Espo, Dryden, Henderson, Cournoyer, Perreault, Park, Johnston, Bergman, Tallon, Clarke, Cashman, Awrey, Gilbert, Pete Mahovlich, Berenson, Richmond, Frank Mahovlich, Savard, Lapointe, Stapleton, Glennie, Tony Esposito, Seiling, White, Dennis Hull, Ellis, Sinden, Ferguson, Martin, Ratelle, Parise, Mikita, Dionne, Guevremont, Hadfield, and Tretiak, Yakushev and Stashinov from the Soviet squad. Signatures obtained by Chris Berg, and are Near Mint.
