ITEM DESCRIPTION

The 1987-88 season was the second year in a row and the fourth time in five years that Edmonton captured the Stanley Cup. In the regular season they fell short of winning the division, finishing second to Calgary but in what may have been an omen, got 99 points. This would turn out to be Gretzky's final season with Edmonton before Pocklington dealt him to LA. Edmonton stormed through the playoffs with a record of 16-1. Handsome trophy stands at 13" in height and is an exact replica of the Cup that was given to all associated with the team. This particular one was given to Juergen Merz, the team's massage therapist.
