ITEM DESCRIPTION

Salt Lake Golden Eagles Jersey is from the WHL era (1969-1974). The Salt Palace was built for their use in their inaugural season and Clarence Campbell called it "the finest hockey viewing arena on the North American continent." Howie Menard spent one season with the club as a center. Large repair on front of this Golden Seals-like jersey from apparent spearing incident. "Eagles" across front in script. "Menard" in individual lettering on the back, above his #8. Both sleeves have patches celebrating the 25th anniversary of the WHL. "Wilson 44" tag in collar. Shows nice wear overall. Rare jersey was obtained directly from Menard.
