Superb New York Giants flannel jersey came right from Hubbell, himself. Game worn and mint signed by the legendary lefty. Obtained directly from a close friend of Mr. Hubbell’s (who Carl gave this to), this stylish jersey was worn in a San Francisco Old Timer's Game. Sewn-on orange and black letters, traditionally angular and pointed, spread individually across the chest spells “Giants.” Simple and clean back contains the two # 1’s of Hubbell’s # 11, threaded with like colors as on the front. This cream-colored button-down jersey has attached to front right tail the tag: “Action tailored, Rawlings (size) 42”, and off of that another smaller white tag with "Set 1, #8P, 1974". Hubbell's blue markered autograph is on the back of the garment, on the collar. Though slightly smudged, it still is distinct and memorable, rating a 9 out of 10. An interesting retro detail is the air holes, four in all, under the armpits – certainly a much needed cooling design for the big games back in the day, when Hubbell was heavily relied upon to save the day, earning his nickname The Meal Ticket. This jersey is really a fond remembrance of baseball’s early splendor. Comes with LOA.
