Lot 433: 1939 Eddie Collins Hall of Fame Presentational Watch

After an outstanding career, Collins entered the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown in 1939. Handsome Gruen Curvex (for its curved body) Precision watch was presented to Collins in congratulations for his accomplishment. Inscription on back reads, "Presented to Edward Trowbridge Collins Member of the Hall of Fame Baseball's Centennial 1839-1939." One of 11 watches given out. Amazing!
