Walker came to the NBA after two real good seasons at the University of Kentucky that included his being named to the NCAA All-Tournament Team in 1995-96, his sophomore year. He then announced that he was turning pro and the Boston Celtics selected him in the first round (#6 overall) in the 1996 NBA Draft. His first year in the NBA was solid but he bloomed in his second season, making the All-Star Game. This Celtics home jersey is from that year and shows nice use.
