Potpourri of great artifacts from the history of baseball, with a heavy Red Sox influence. Collection includes: Ernie Banks Hartland, empty box of Mayo's dark Ivy plugs, box of Perez-Steele post cards, including a signed Rizzuto and a signed Ted Williams Jimmy Fund post card, click baseball game, Helmar Turkish cigarettes sign, a framed Piedmont cigarette advertisement measuring 18.5 x 25 1/8", Hall of Fame induction bats 1936 & 1937. 2 E90-1 cards, including a Smokey Joe Wood (VG), Red Sox score card from Williams' rookie year, 30 stadium post cards from the 60's, flag that hung from a light pole in Boston announcing the opening of the Ted Williams Tunnel in Boston. Another group of signed Perez-Steele cards include Koufax, Ford, Berra, Cool Papa Bell, Ford, Reese, Snider and Gibson to name a few, Satchel Paige Hall of Fame Card (signed), boxed Topps gum collection, Colgar's Chip cases (2), framed group of mini-pennants and pins divided by league, three more Perez-Steele boxes of cards featuring a signed Larry Doby, Ruth-Williams photo from 1939, plus some more Ted photos, a Tigers doorstop, a brand new celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Hall of Fame that contains many Perez-Steele cards, and some items of Fro-Joy ice cream items, including a silver-plated cup one could receive in the mail by sending ice cream coupons.
