Bill James tossed a two hit shutout at the Athletics in besting Plank. Evers was the league MVP that year and continued his hot hand in the series, batting .438. Sharp image (3-1/2 x 4-3/8”) of the two shaking hands before the start of a game at Philadelphia’s Shibe Park. Mounted on heavy paper, the Culver stamp is on the reverse.
