ITEM DESCRIPTION

||||||||||||
The 31st President appointed a commission which set aside 3 million acres of national parks and 2.3 million acres of national forests. He advocated tax reduction for low-income Americans, doubled the numbers of veteran hospital facilities and proposed a federal Department of Education. However, he is best remembered for being President when the Great Depression hit. He also found the time to sign this baseball. It is without question the nicest Hoover single signed baseball that you will ever find. In fact, you'll probably never see another one in any condition. This ball is the earliest presidential single signed baseball that we have handled. Sewn in black and red alternating stitching. The Spalding Official National League baseball, with John Heydler as President of the League, dated from Hoover's term as President of the United States. Ball is NRMT as is the fountain pen signature on the sweet spot. Graded NRMT+ overall by PSA.
