Portfolio of items relating to radio station WINE of Kenmore, New York, near Buffalo (previously WXRA), from the 1950's. Two Western Union telegrams from Elvis Presley to WINE contest winners, inviting them to a private screening of Elvis' new film, Jailhouse Rock. On WINE's first day, they played only one song over and over, Andy Williams' "Lips of Wine". Williams visited the area as part of the promotion, and there are 23 - 8 x 10" photos of the festivities. Portfolio (18-1/4 x 16-1/2") came from an executive of this early rock and roll radio station. EX-MT.
