The 1933 Goudey Baseball Card Set was that company’s first baseball issue and is one of the few sets (like T-206 and 1952 Topps Set) that are so big, so innovative, and so loaded with great cards that they define the decade which they were issued. The 1933 Goudey Baseball Card Set contains 240 cards and was the largest set issued in years, and would not be surpassed until 1950. The measurement of the card is (2-1/4 x 2-3/4"). Of the four Ruth cards in the 1933 Goudey set this is the most valuable. The card grades PSA 4 vg-ex, it is decently centered with nice coloring and a crisp clear image of Ruth, the card has minimal corner wear which is consistant with the cards grade of vg-ex.
